Our client is a strong and growing Michigan based community bank, and due to continued growth, is seeking a Compliance Officer.
This professional will be responsible for overseeing the Corporate Compliance Program, functioning as an independent and objective body that reviews and evaluates compliance issues/concerns within the organization. The position ensures the Board of Directors, management and employees are in compliance with the rules and regulations of regulatory agencies, and that company policies and procedures are being followed. The Compliance Officer acts as a channel of communication to receive and guide compliance issues to appropriate parties for investigation and resolution.
This person will have a team of individuals reporting to them who oversee BSA, Compliance and CRA.
Compensation will be commensurate with the person’s experience and consist of base, bonus and full benefits.
