Scott joined MRI-Wausau in 2007 and has been the key banking recruiter. Specializing in Commercial & Agriculture Lending roles and Executive Management positions, Scott’s expertise is centered on community and regional banks throughout the Midwest.
His journey with the MRI Network began in 2007, focusing on community and regional banks in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Eastern South Dakota. Scott’s commitment to excellence has earned him notable recognition, including being named a finalist for the 2014 “CSAM of the Year” award, a prestigious acknowledgment within the MRI organization.
Scott’s outstanding performance is further underscored by his consistent receipt of the Pacesetter Award in multiple years (2008, 2010, & 2012 – 2019) and his numerous accolades as Account Executive of the Year in the Wausau office (2008-2019). His dedication and proficiency in the field are reflected in his attainment of the Certified Senior Account Manager (CSAM) designation since 2012—the highest rank awarded to recruiters at MRINetwork®, one of the world’s largest recruitment and search organizations.

- EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND: Univerity of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2006 (History & Political Science)
- COMMUNITY / INDUSTRY INVOLVMENT: Assists his wife with their area “Christmas Spirit Program” which provides gifts for underprivileged youth. He also coaches baseball and basketball for grade school kids and is a basketball booster board member for the high school program.
- ON HIS BUCKET LIST: Visit Hawaii again with his wife and this time bring their kids. (They have been there twice but now it’s been almost 10 years)

- HOBBIES & PASSIONS: Sports, hiking, coaching my kid’s teams, woodwork, and traveling within the region.
- FAMILY: Married for 26+ years to his college sweetheart when he was attending UW-Milwaukee. They relocated to North Central Wisconsin, his hometown, where they began a family with four boys aged 17, 14, 12, and 10.
