Chief Lending Officer

Angott Search Group is pleased to partner with a credit union in the search for a Chief Lending Officer (CLO).
The Chief Lending Officer is responsible for the strategic leadership, growth, and risk management of the organization’s lending portfolio. This executive role develops and executes lending strategies that support sustainable growth, strong asset quality, and exceptional member service. The CLO oversees consumer, mortgage, and commercial lending functions while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with the credit union’s strategic plan.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field required.
- Advanced degree or professional certifications preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive lending experience within financial services.
- 5+ years of senior leadership experience managing multiple lending functions.
- Strong background in consumer, mortgage, and commercial lending.
- Proven success in portfolio growth, risk management, and operational improvement.
