As we wind down 2023, it’s a good time to reflect on our year, what successes we had and areas to strive for improvement moving forward. I’m sure for many, what you viewed as success at the beginning of the year and what it looks like now may have changed. Between market uncertainty, an ever-changing rate environment, and the general day-to-day you likely found yourself assessing things differently than you originally thought you would.
I know personally that I had to make some changes to what I deemed positive outcomes due to a constantly evolving employment market. Thinking about the basic elements of your work and realizing that small wins add up over time can help lessen the impact of occasional setbacks. Generally, finding things to be positive about every day makes for a much less stressful work life.
The recipe for success is simple no matter if you’re lending, hiring, or trying to achieve something in your personal life:

Good attitude, passion, self-discipline, versatility
Directions:
1. Identify the outcome you’re looking for.
2. Map out and plan what you need to do to make your goals happen.
3. Consult and seek advice from others who have done something similar.
4. Set the goal and find someone to help hold you accountable.
5. Follow your plan and be flexible where needed, don’t be afraid to make changes.
6. Stick it out and enjoy your achievements!
